Why it matters
OptimistFi's case is that Mission's upside depends less on selling more fruit than on proving its global sourcing and distribution network can hold spreads through crop cycles. This filing fits that view by tying the next phase to scale, margin, cash generation and repurchases. At about 2.0x fiscal 2025 pro forma net sales, the 2035 sales ambition sets a clear scale test for the network.
The $450 million EBITDA ambition matters because it points to margin expansion as part of the plan, not just higher volume. The reaffirmed $84 million to $88 million second-half EBITDA range and $52 million to $55 million Q4 range give investors a nearer-term check. The $4 billion, $450 million and $100 million figures are ambitions or an authorization, not commitments, and repurchases may be suspended or discontinued at any time.

What's next
The next checks are Mission's second-half and Q4 2026 results against the $84 million to $88 million and $52 million to $55 million adjusted EBITDA ranges. Mission also pointed to 120 million to 130 million pounds of second-half Mission Peru exportable volume and 67 million to 77 million pounds in Q4. Management also targeted a -0.5x net leverage reduction by year-end 2027, which gives another marker for cash generation and integration progress.
Results within those ranges and more progress toward the $30 million-plus annualized Calavo target would support the case. A miss on those figures would weaken it. The 90% free cash flow conversion target is another check on whether growth and buybacks can coexist.
